In 2022, the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship holders were once again able to meet their sponsors. On Thursday, January 27, TU Dortmund University's scholarship ceremony took place online, as it did last year. Scholarship Celebration 2020/21
Due to the current situation, in 2021 the traditional scholarship celebration "Donors meet Scholarship Holders" became a hybrid event - with virtual chats and analog certificates.
Prof. Manfred Bayer, Rector of TU Dortmund University, opened the event and thanked all the benefactors for their commitment: "Especially in these times, it is incredibly valuable that you support our students and offer them the chance to concentrate on their studies and the development of their talents without financial worries." The students also thanked their benefactors in short videos that were edited into a film. Students and benefactors were able to get to know each other "live" in several chat rooms. All participants had received their sponsorship and donor certificates by mail before the event.
Here you can watch the film with the thank-you videos of the scholarship holders. In the film, the name of the sponsor who supported the scholarship holder is listed under their name.
