Since 2016, the city of Dortmund has been showing its diversity at the "DORTBUNT!" city festival. On one weekend, several tens of thousands of people celebrate their colorful city. A varied program is presented on several stages and institutions, actors and associations introduce themselves to the citizens at numerous booths. Meanwhile, more than 150 partners make clear how much commitment, passion and quality the city has to offer.
On May 4, TU Dortmund University will be supporting the city festival with an information stand.

Celebrate the 70th anniversary with the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences, experience how tablets are made and how laser engraving works. Find out what mathematical optimization has to do with domino images and what transport logistics specialists do. Take part in a study from the field of sports medicine and be amazed by the performances of various university sports groups.
Younger visitors are cordially invited to an exciting KinderUni lecture in the Reinoldikirche at 4 pm. The lecture will be translated into sign language. On the stage in front of the church, you can hear how good TU Dortmund University sounds. Various ensembles will provide musical entertainment.
